Who's got the Rippmods Headers for the 5S-FE? i wasnt around when they were made, so idk if there was a GB or what ... but i was wondering how many were made and who's cars they are still on
Also, what other companys make headers for the 5S-FE that will fit inside a Camry's engine bay? i dont think the MR2 headers will fit because of the position of the engine, however i do think that the Celica's headers will fit since the engine bay is almost identical ...
but i dont know of any companies that made headers for the Celica or the Camry ... i dont want cheap ebay crap, but i dont want $500 Bosal's either ...

I got mine used from a user on here that bought them from YESCA. I wasnt around here when they were made either. I was considering getting the Borla around the time these popped up for sale. I have to call Ripp today tho because I need a replacement gasket, doubt they will have any.
Don't buy from them because they don't make them any more. The group buy went bad and 2 years later I'm still out $200 because they won't issue me a refund for my deposit.

Its just an oem gasket isnt it?
I have them on my camry beater still I was in the original group buy about three years ago. They were $400 in the group buy with a high flow cat. It made a somewhat noticeable difference to me back then, but in hindsight it wasnt worth it, since the car is still incredibly slow. They also made the car super loud, which really isnt my style anymore.
But yeah, Ripp screwed up the second group buy and kind of disappeared. I know someone made the cheap ebay headers from the MR2 fit at one point, but that would be even more not worth the money IMO...
im just wondering if i can track down someone from the first GB and get them for like under $200 .... which is about e-bay pricing for Celica/MR2 headers ....
cuz then it would be worth it ... and im assuming that people who bought them that long ago have moved on to other cars now

Nah, Im talking about the gasket with the two holes in it. After the oem one. Cody told me he was gonna look thru boxes in the shop for me but I doubt he will find anything. None of the exhaust shops make gaskets, when I had them installed they used the rubber cement stuff which of course is not a permanent solution. I love mine tho, eventually you might see one in the for sale section.
Who's got the Rippmods Headers for the 5S-FE? Me, I know that. idk if there was a GB or what? They were sold individually and in GB's. Like someone said, there were about 2 group buys on this forum for the headers, which came with a hi-flow cat. how many were made and who's cars they are still on? Couldn't tell you
what other companys make headers for the 5S-FE that will fit inside a Camry's engine bay? As far as I know, only OBX, which I constantly hear of the shit quality headers that they market, especially the Camry one, which apparently doesn't come with a 2nd bung for the rear o2 sensor. i dont think the MR2 headers will fit I've heard both, but I think only certain years. I think the problem is with the downpipe fitment.
i dont want cheap ebay crap but i dont want $500 Borla's either... Well, I would either wait for someone to sell their Ripp headers, or just pay out for the Borla one. Any yes, keep far far away from Ebay.
well im hoping that by the end of this school year, i can get them for like $300ish ... since theyre pretty old and used now, and people always drop the price when tryin to get rid of stuff to move on to their next car/project
i just dont know how many are out there ... and i cant for the life of me find any headers for a Celica GT that arent like SSAutoChrome or OBX ... both those companies are shit, but they seem to be the only ones that make them
plus they dont come with cats, so i have to do all that - so if im gonna get that done, i want to have a decent set of headers on my engine
