4th Generation So yeah I'm checking out for a new Camry right now

Mine is about to hit 300 000 kilometers, I put lot's of time and money in it but still planned to either...:

A.Dump more money into suspention (Horrible shuddering, braking pulse, steering wheel wobble), motor mounts, and THEN start with aestethic mods on a 300k KM car....

B.Sell it and buy something else.

I came across a nice 120k KM Black '98 Gen4 in QC that was 6900$, it didn't sell. It's now back on the lot and will go for 5500$ it has little rust on the top of the windshield and the front bumper was apparently repainted but I've told the guy I would buy the car right there if he got the roof fixed ans the front bumper a bit shinier. I'll see what happens.

I would love to start again on another bone stock black Gen4 and mod it to my tastes and end up with a car that I'm 100% certain will last a long time.

I would also go from a CE to an LE. At 5500$ I would cry to see it go somewhere other than my own driveway.

Good find .. i guess. the km to miles conversion, and dollar conversion probably have me confused, but it might be a good deal, i dunno :P

First off though, i'd not have told him to fix the windshield. Get a quote froma couple of body/paint shops as to how much the repairs would cost, then deduct that amount from the asking price or the blue book price, then go by that amount. Tell the guy: "look, it's got some rust, this is how much it's gonna cost to fix it. Can you come down on the price by this much?"

Then go from there.

Good luck getting on a new(er) Camry!
