Need some serious help.

Okay. I went a couple of weeks ago to align my Camry. The mechanic refused to align it for me because my mount bushing was worn out. I was told to have it replaced first and then come back to him, cause aligning it when the mount bushing is worn out won't give a 100% result. I live in Dubai, UAE. Not even one spare parts store or dealership sells a mount bushing on its own (13$). I would have to replace the whole front steering gear to fix the problem which would cost 1000$+. The problem I face with my steering wheel is its kinda lose and moving it left and right to about a 10 degrees angle doesn't affect the movement of the car at all, and just keeps going in a straight line. So I wanna be sure that if replacing my mount bushing will really fix this problem. Or is there another problem to it? I need to know this cause Im going to be opening a P.O. Box thru ARAMEX(like DHL and UPS) in the States to order that part.

Thanks for any help in advance.
