97 camry XLE

Hey.. i'm looking into purchasing a 97 Camry XLE (V6)... it has 130 000 Kilmeters and is in pretty good shape... i'm taking it in to the mechanic to take a look at it before i buy it on wed. The car was a total loss vehicle but its passed 2 inspections and has been drdiven for 2 years since then. I was able to lower the price to $12 500.00 Canadian. This a good deal? Also.. is there any problem spots i should check for in the camry before i buy it? Any help would be appreciated.

I have that exact same car and have had no problems whatsoever except a torn rack and pinion which was my fault. I have 63,000 miles(101,389 kilometers) and have only done the routine stuff.

I would be careful about the salvage title, just make sure you have it checked good by someone you trust.
See if you can talk to the previous owner and obtain records.

I still think that price is a little too high.. especially the car was a total loss.. have you checked the www.autotrader.ca?
that will give you an idea about the price range for the car

ABS, traction control, keyless entry, AM/FM/Cassette, Spoiler, Tinted windows, alloy wheels, gold trim/emblems, a/t/c .. thats bout all i can think of.. v6 xle ...hmm.. silver in color..
