brakes go soft

I am out of ideas. my dad's 95 camry 4cyl. with no abs. front disc/rear drums has brake issues.

if the a/c is on and he goes to brake, sometimes it will not work. the pedal will be to the floor and nothing happens. pretty much everythng has been replaced except capliers. but it is only sometimes. any ideas as to what is causing that?

by everything, is that including the brake booster, thats the engine behind power brakes. if all else fails then u may be lookin at a vacume leak, or bad calipers. but its hard to have 4 calipers go at once.

well this has been an issue since may dad got it in 96, so I'm not sure that bleeding it is the answer. im not sure about the booster bigbird. i think the master cylinder was replaced in 97 cause thats what the mechanic said was wrong with it.
