I had all 4 brakes turned and for a few weeks it was smooth. I thought it was fixed. I guess not. Now I'm thinking it's a bearing issue in the rear for 4 reasons... 1) it came back quickly, but not nearly as bad, 2) the car vibrates at speeds over 40, 3) occasionally there's a high pitched squeal coming from the rear at very low speeds and 4) with the rear passenger drum off and turning the axle by hand, I can hear a faint clicking noise. Also, at low speeds with the brake depressed slightly, I can hear a rear drum hitting the pads with each revolution... probably a warped drum.
Is there a reliable way to determine if my bearings are on their way out? I'd rather not have the drums turned and/or replaced a few times a year.
