4th Generation Replacing Seats

I've used the search and got some type of information but when I find a question I've got, the thread dies out. So here it goes:

I wanted to know if Solara or Lexus es300 seats fit in the camry within the same years. I mean, I've got a 97 LE so would the Gen 1 solara seats fit? Or a 97 es300 pair? Are the brackets the same? I was rear-ended last year and my seat's been locked in a reclining position since then. It slides forward and back but the seat will only come up to a certain point. Anyone with any info , feel free to post. Thanks.

I am pretty sure that the es300 and ! gen Solar would be a bolt in thing. Some one asked the same question here before.

When time comes I would be replacing my seats with some Subaru STi Seats:P

won't you need some type of special brackets/sliders made? I don't think it's as simple as boltin in with an sti or any seat of another car maker. I could be wrong though.

i replaced my camry's fabric seats with seats from another 4cyl gen 4 camry that were leather and they made a huge difference. but, yes the es300 seats will fit but i dont think the solara seats will fit. But the best thing is to get seats from another gen 4 camry cause those fit the best.
