Bad O2 Sensor

Check engine light came on this morning but cars running fine. Pulled the code and it's the O2 sensor, the one in the back (ie. hard to get to.) The stealer wants $150 for the part and $150 to install. Anyone know if this is reasonable? Is this DIY-able?

Car is a 96 Camry V6
Thanks. PatrixUSA

They are MUCH cheaper at www.sparkplugs.com and easy to install....as long as you have plenty of wd40/liquid wrench.

Well, depends on the car. For my 99 4cyl. the cheapest O2 sensor I found on the web was ~$170, I think it's because of Cal. emis.

to install you need a 7/8" wrench and jackstands and patience. and penetrating oil. Check with an independent shop if you want a better price. Also, I got a couple of false o2 performance errors before my catalyst went bad. Did your code refer to the heater or performance?
