ok so finally my weapon r came in as did my spw brace, and both piece aint right, the weapon r only has one vac bung where as in mine i need 2 (unless im missing something..) didnt realize the problem till i was half done so im figuring ill just go get a t fitting and mount it up unless the seller will pay shipping for the return and the new part (plus it aint the blue set!!!) the spw they sent 2 driver side mounts...so we will see...
(edit addition) anyone see a problem with mounting the weapon r i have and using a 't' fitting for the vac lines? one goes into the valve cover and the other is down by the brake MC
the Weapon R should have a hole at the bottom for the first sensor, and a vacuum bung on the left
i only needed one of the 2 holes since im OBD-I [pre-1996] but i thought that you only needed 2, which is whats provided .... you dont need to connect the line to the Valve Cover, you can leave that one connected to the Throttle Body like it normally is
that line normally goes to the Valve Cover, but use it for a sensor if you need to
and in terms of mounting, what problem are you having?
this is how mine is mounted [the proper way]

i think mine has some weird crap on it, i have a vac line that attached to the air box and one in the intake runner, here some pics of it now. hope they are ok its one am here...lol mine had some other weird things, like a plastic 90% elbow that was connected to the runner but it had no sensor or anything...lol guess my car is jacked...roflmao
again thanks for all the help, i have actually worked on cars before, just nothing newer then 81...
pic one the 2 tubes, one top left other bottom right
pic two, where one of the tubes goes to, under the master cylinder (cali emiss maybe???)
pic three, the breather tube (i assume) that connected to the intake runner
yea i saw that, and immediatley went to my pics, in mine that port is blocked off, nothing there to connect to! (weird huh?) i seriously think mine is a cali car, which cornfuses me since my parents bought it from a little old lady who lived next door...
hopefully someone will know what i cant finger out...lol otherwise ill walk up the street to auto bone and get a t...and hope the car gods still love me...
you shouldnt have disconnected anything from the OEM setup except what was attached to the OEM filter/airbox .... none of the valve cover stuff or throttle body stuff
but if you must, get a T or Y adapter, however those might not always flow evenly so hopefully you dont get a CEL

i only disconnected what was attatched to my air box and runner, the one from my valve cover ran to the top of the tube from the airbox to the engine, here is a pic of it set in place more or less...
vac tube that goes to box under master cylinder (pic 2 up above) the one in your pics that attatched to the intake. i guess they changed something in 97 or in texas or something, that gaping hole above the nipple for the house had nothing but a hollow 90 degree elbow...lol
oh well ... doesnt make sense to me, especially since i dont have my car here so i cant go look under it
idk what in the world is coming from the master cylinder tho ... ur picture doesnt make sense .... where was that plugged into originally? and where does it actually come from?

whew finally done, went to auto bone grabbed a t fitting and 2 foot of regular vac hose, measured and cut it and put it in, cranked up no codes and runs like a champ, sounds NICE, still very quiet and idle and just rolling down the street, stomp the pedal and it sounds alot more like what i grew up in...lol
thanks for the help!
