It will be virtually impossible to find a supercharger or so I've heard over and over. And with the V6 I think the plumbing would be pretty damned expensive
Turbo is cheaper. Its near impossible to find the supercharger... plus if you do find it its supposed to be expensive. 2k+ i think
If you do go turbo... find a really good shop thats willing to do the work or take up welding.
Save every penny you have.... you can do a decent setup for around 2k or do it right for 4k

supercharger will hurt the auto tranny less, i believe .... but its hard to find a TRD supercharger, and to strap on a 3rd-party charger would be expensive [ie: Eaton, Stillen, etc.]

I'm not extremely knowledgable about the s/c's or anything but wouldn't a s/c running at the same psi as a t/c actually produce more stress since it would be a constant stress opposed to a t/c only when it's spooled up?
hey thx guys for answering my questions
I also wanted .. to switch my auto to manual .. but I have a footbreak not a handbreak.. so is it possible to switch to manual and approx how much will cost ?

its an automatic ... once the t/s spools, it spools .... despite the BOV, you dont lose boost thru gears with the auto tranny, so the pressure is there for good
but i think the methods at which the s/c boosts versus a t/c, the s/c might be easier on the tranny .... like i said, im not totally sure
im not really a tranny expert unfortunately
and no matter what your setup, it is possible to swap a manual tranny in - look for Eye8Pussies' thread about the swap, or PM him with questions

Yea, I figure anyone who has to ask, "how much" can't (or shouldn't) afford it anyway. He's also in Canada, so he'd better double the amount anyone else would pay here.
