3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I was just wondering if anybody with a generation 3 Camry has a factory floor mat with the hole in it for the plastic hook to secure it to the floor. After 14 years of ownership my floor mat is starting to slide around. The mat is otherwise in great shape. I noticed the hole is in the floor for the plastic hook, but there is no corresponding hole in the driver's floor mat. These are the Toyota OEM floor mats, as delivered from the dealership years ago. They have always fit perfectly and wear great; much better than my newer Camry's floor mats.
I have the hole in the floor mat...but the previous owner broke the freaken hook off! So I just have 2 holes no hook!
As do I, maybe the car just didn't come with the hooks , opposite of how we all thought the D light for drive wasn't supposed to work but in reality everyones just dies
My gen3 didnt have one of those hooks period and the mat didnt have the hole....
