European Union Where is my gen 4 Camry build?

I live in Holland and drive a gen4 (TTE) Camry.

On the internet i found out that there are 3 types:

1. Made in Japan
2. Made America
3. Made America (California model)

when i was litle i looked untherneath my Dinky Toys and found...made in Taiwan/China

How can i findout where my car is build/what type it is. I need to know for building in the EBC (s/c).

Thanks a lot !

Look at your VIN # if the first letter is a J its japanese built, if its something else then its american built. If your car is california built it will have two cats on the exhaust system.

Thanks!

I have looked in my papers. The VIN begins with JT15........
So, this one is made in Japan.

Does this mean that my camry is just like a JDM Camry?
I want this know, because then it is not OBDII compatible

Tuner571, maybe this will help you ??:
