problem with read first stickie

maybe im doing something wrong, maybe im the only one looking but it seems at least half the links and pics posted in the 'stickied' thread about read first for customization is either dead links or no pics anymore... is there anyways to get these back or something?

I'm not having a problem with that particular sticky, but the site has been slow the last couple of days, it was down for awhile yesterday, and there are some pages where I'm seeing html remnants displayed. I'd say they're having some technical difficulties with the server.

the thread is fine but many of the links are dead, no page there to see or all pics are gone.
