Question Interior Paint Sprays?

Has any one try Interior paint sprays for the seats? I just want to know becuase I might do mine but I do not have dark spots and light spots? Did it rub off on your clothing? I am getting a little board with my seats and I do not want to spend a huge amount on it.

i did this many many years ago in a targa topped maverick i had (why i painted the vinyl seats black with no roof...i have no idea) even thru rain (no roof) houston tx summer sun (no roof) and sweaty butts(no ac either..lol) i seem to remember it working out pretty ok, i think it finally started to break down right before the engine let go... but it didnt get on anyone (as i remember) id say if you are worried, get a piece of something and paint it with the good quality spray dye and let it dry and rub on it sweat shampoo what ever... see how it does for you.

Do you have cloth or leather? If you have leather, try this company out...

http://www.leatherique.com/

I was going to buy a kit from them, but I just started a '65 Mustang project, so my Camry is on the "waitlist" now.

for the seats cloth wise use duplicolor vinyl & fabric paint.. make sure after you paint about 1 -2 hours later, you go over it with your hand so u can break up the blobs that WILL FORM to make it feel like factory upholstery.. hondatech had a thing on doing it and they did a good job.. i wouldnt suggest it unless you were serious. im not sure about the maintenence of it but the guy there said "1 year and still fine"

even on the carpet it can work and that is what some professional detailers will use to cover up hard to remove stains..
