Lightbulb GAS MILEAGE...I'm Curious...???

yo guys, so what are you getting with your 1mz's

I am consistently getting 16.7 mpg with a heavy foot...

(short ram, exhaust, apexi safc-ii pretty much, plus suspension)

somehow i calculated 13.7 mpg today

just out of curiousity, what are you guys getting and what have you done to your cars that could modify the mpg...

im doing a trial tank right now with a light foot

see thats what i figured, but the thing is, with the way i tuned the car, my average setting on my SAFC is a +3 to +5, my data said it was running lean...and i checked, the bumper is not charred...the other thing was that i got a better powerband with the +3 - +5 settings, and almost 15hp increase...i put a lot of time into the tuning

I average about 18-22 mpg depending on how I drive. I've seen as low as 15 before in the winter though. Engine mods are just CAI and Evo2 muffler.

I got about 18-20mpg about 50/50. Lowest I got was 16.7 and highest was probably around 22.

Calculating my mpg from 6/22-7/15

Mixed City/Highway with a lead food and high RPM's

1866/93.53=19.951 mpg

On the other side, I have gotten 30.1mpg over a 960 mile trip. 60 miles Ottawa city driving, and average highway speed of around 75mph much of which had windoes open or A/C on.

my 99 lara 1mz-fe (146k miles, stick shift) give me 290 to 300 miles when the needle is at 1/2 tank mark,
the only thing i changed recently was the gas cap as i was getting P0441 error,
but since i put the new gas cap on, the check engine light disappeared by itself after 15 miles of driving.

the above number are based on 90% highway(75 to 80mph), 10% local,

on the other hand, i am still struggling to find out why my 97 camry 5s-fe yield only 150 miles at 1/2 tank mark. 70% local, 30% highway, but i do have check engine light on about A/F sensor, and transmission solenoid.
