3rd Generation Gear Ratio for 96 Camry 2.2 i4

I know this car has 4 gears when I put it into overdrive. At what speed does 2nd gear begin at, also what speed does 3rd and 4thbegin at ?

all depends on how open your throttle is, along with many other factors .... automatics are made to shift at the best time in any given situation, so its not a given speed or rpm for every case

its a 4 speed w/ overdrive. turn O/D off and it will act like 4 gears. and as venom said, it all depends on speed, throttle position, rpm and engine load. just couriosity, but why do u ask?

bigbird, when you turn the overdrive off, your car will act like it only has 3 gears. overdrive is the 4th gear.

OWNERS MANUAL! It lists it in there, towards the back I think, but I do not have mine handy. 1:30 am and too tired to go out to car, haha But it lists the speeds in it.

*Edit, from memorym and these are ESTIMATES. May be a couple mph off.

1st-2nd, 36mph
2nd-3rd, 74mph
