paggenger seat not returning up
My father has a 1997 Camry with manual seats and the front passenger seat is not returning to the upright position. We removed the entire seat assembly and can not seem to find why this is not coming up other than the fact that the whole underneath seems to be rusted. We used WD40 extensivley on it and tried to force it up as much as possible. When we move the release handle both latches seem to move but there must be something else that is not relaseing or is jammed. Has anyone seem this before or know what the fix might be short of buying a junk seat which I found for $100. Any help would be appreciated.
