Angry 4k rev kill??????????? running issue.

ok so

new fuel pump
new fuel filter
checked the coils
checked front bank plugs
checked wires
new iacv on order

engine starts sits at 1k (no fast idle) sometimes stumbles out and dies at 1st.

after running at 1k for 10 min temp gauge reads at warm temp (normal area)

at this point 90% of the time i can slowly rev it up to 4k and it bounce like the rev limiter is kicking in wount go higher.

the engine is very weak running but it wants to run (drop to 100 and come back)

wtf so lost with this. mainly that 4k kill. there is a cel but my reader wount pull the code.

one code is 1780, tranny code, from a a/t to m/t swap.

My friends' Subaru had the 4k rpm redline issue and it was from his transmission speed sensor. Hope this helps somewhat.
