replacement headlights

I was wondering if anyone has purchased the replacement headlights off EBay. I priced OEM and they are about $200.00 a piece from Toyota. The EBay ones are so much less, but I don't want to buy them if they are cheap or are bad quality. Thoughts please!

It depends on the manufacturer. If they're DEPOs, they're probably fine. I bought a cheap $50 one that ended up being manufactured by some random company and there were some fitment issues, and I could tell after prying it apart that the glue they used to seal the lens was utter crap.

Definitely check on the manufacturer... as the other reply mentions, there are some "almost" OEM quality lights that don't necessarily fit right. I bought two lights off eBay... one side was a Depo and fit great, the other was some other brand it and wasn't so great. I sent that one back and demanded a Depo. It arrived and fit perfectly. An EXCELLENT purchase in terms of refreshing the car. Amazing what a nice new set of headlights does to the look.
