goodbye camry guys

so its a sad day. i decided to go and get another car. so instead of rolling in a camry.. ill be rollin in a 08 matrix xR. pics to come soon. ill still be posting here since im not letting the camry out of the family.. only ORIGINAL 51000 miles on a gen3.

but before i go, one question. does anyone recommend any aftermarket alarm systems? i looked into the automate AM1 bc i read on matrixowners.com that it wouldnt void my warranty. so any more suggestions?

if you know any reputable alarm shops in queens, nyc, lemme know. please dont suggest best buy... seriously.

go with a 10.5x .. relatively cheap- and if its installed by a Cert. MECP; it shouldnt void the warranty.

You'll be back, they always come back

Now seriously, you won't be able to resist the urge to peek in here and add your 2 cents to whatever topics are being discussed.

I picked up the car 2 days ago and I already have an appointment for 20% tints and installation of a viper 731vx remote starter/alarm for tomorrow.

I'm ordering a DC strut bar, a TRD rsb, TRD axle back exhaust, and Cosmo CAI.
Some time in the spring, ill be getting some Tein H-line springs and enkei wheels.

Once I lose the warranty, its F/I in the name of turbo or trd supercharger. Not sure what I'll do, its too far from now lol. and too costly for now.

I'm pretty happy with how it is right now, but there are some things I want to do to personalize it.

I'm still keeping my Gen3, its just that im commuting a lot now and i need a newer car to rack the miles on. I want to keep my g3 in pristine condition since most of the g3 around nyc are run down and destroyed minus a few... on this forum.

Who knows maybe in 10 - 15 years, the g3 will be as rare as the 1970s celicas.

I'm a toyota fan boy.. whats there to say lol.. i just dont feel comfortable driving something not built/designed by japanese people.
