Bring up the I4 Mechanical Section for the Gen 3 .... see sticky at top of forum page. .... Locate p. 146 for a diagram giving some idea as to where to look for both Oxygen sensors.

Also ... main sensor has just one white wire,
sub sensor has two wires ... one is brown, and the other is red with light blue stripe.

I could be wrong, but I thought that the gen 3 (92-94) had only 1 O2 sensor, whereas the gen 3.5 (95-96) had 2.

No..there ARE 2 on the Gen3 AND 3.5 I4 models. There are 3 on the V6 models. Just search...it's been discussed countless times on these boards.

Quotes from the Haynes manual for 92-96 Toyota Camry

page 6-8, oxygen sensor - general description:
"These models are equipped with either a single oxygen sensor system or a dual stage oxygen sensor system."

page 6-9, oxygen sensor - check:
"Later model four-cylinder engines are equipped with a main oxygen sensor located in the exhaust manifold and a sub oxygen sensor located after the catalytic converter." - implying that early model four cylinder engines have only one O2 sensor.

I believe the second O2 sensor might have been added to the 4 cylinder 5SFE engine for the 1994 model year, however I'm not certain of that. My 94 does have two O2 sensors.
