Would U buy this 92??

I'm thinking about it..about got the wife talked into it...Says it needs a head gasket..197k...but an XLE for 500..negotiable.., should I or not? I think I may beable to make a buck or 2 from it. Whats the cost of head gaskets for a 92 V6 now days? I already have 3 Vehicles...but I'm kinda crazy for Gen 3's

nah ... i wouldnt buy a "fixer-upper" just because of possible hidden problems ... you can find good deals on fully-functional ones in great condition

I say you do it, even if you just buy it to replace the head gasket you can sell it for even more than you bought it for.

No it will have more problems as the years pass. I've fixed countless thing on my 92 V6... Your better off finding a mint one... But hey you could could buy it sell the rims and parts and make a good profit!

Since you can probably recoup your loss or more by parting it, why not go for it?

3rd Generation

I say for that much go for it. It might cost another grand to get it in decent shape engine-wise but you still could turn around and sell it for twice that and make a profit. Then put that towards another decent camry, that's what I did

if everything else is seemingly okay, then just pick up the car, drop a new engine in...it's not worth replacing the headgasket, and then sell it for 1500-200. easy money right htere
