Used engine?

Just had a used engine installed in my 98 camry.a 4 cyl, done by a national company that claims the engines are low mileage from wrecked or junkyard cars.got it back 2 weeks ago and my wife noticed smoke when the car is first started in the morning.i checked it the next day and it is smoke from tailpipe.the car only smokes at first start and does not during the day.is this a sign of a HIGH mileage engine (valve guides worn).do i have warranty issue here.they gave a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty.

Thanks Robert.....

Sounds like oil could be leaking into the sparkplug tubes while sitting and when it's started it burns that oil off. If this is the case...should be an easy/cheap fix. Not necessarily a sign of high mileage.

On a side note...even if an engine has low mileage, that doesnt mean that it was cared for properly by the previous owner.
