any tips on hooking the 2 up. both are out of car and need to be hooked together before putting back in car.

3rd Generation

Yeah, it can be done with one person, but it's not much fun. What I did last time was make sure the part on the end of the torque converter that kinda slid into the flexplate was smooth (had to lightly sand it) and also slapped a coat of anti-seize on it just to be safe.

Lube always seems to help...

and yeah, it can be done by one person, but it's not that easy...then it takes a lot of bracing so that the engine doesn't slide away when you try to put the tranny onto it...
