3rd Generation im happy

just put in a new o2 sensor on my 94 camry. I just got 101 miles with a quarter take of gas(aproximately 26ish 27ish mpg) which is 11 mpg more than what i was getting! Plus i put some fuel injector cleaner so i might treat it again with my next tank too!
YAY! Thanks Toyota Nation

Now for some mods... =\

um... i hope you arent going by what the fuel gauge is reading. you cant correctly calculate fuel economy until you re-fill the gas tank and know for sure how much was used.

is your car and i4 or v6?

Did you have a professional install it or did you do it yourself? Also, is there a specific kind of oxygen sensor that is better than the others?

I have noticed my miles per gallon dropping as well (like 5 or 10) and to my knowledge in all 150 miles of this cars existance the oxygen sensor has never been touched.

I get only 240-250 miles before my low fuel light comes on. 100% city driving, and i'm a student, so i'm not sitting in traffic. Do you think if I replace my o2 sensor I will get better mileage? Also, my check engine light is not on.

i have a semi-professional install it (only charged me 69 dollars labor !) I got a Bosch O2 Sensor and i heard they are top quality (also i got the universal fit kind). and you might not have to change the O2 Sensor unless your check engine light is on and you have read the codes.

Take it to Autozone and get your car checked (get your check engine light codes) because i didnt have my check engine light on when i went to autozone to check my check engine codes and they told me my o2 sensor was bad!
