3rd Generation Will Non-turbo Supra AFM work on 93 Camry

Hey all,

While I was at the pull-a-part last weekend, I came a across an 87 supra non-turbo that looked to be pretty complete. I went ahead and pulled off the AFM because it looked an aweful lot like the one on my 93 v6. I'm wondering how close they are and if need be I could swap it out for the one in the car right now. I know that the one from the turbo supras seem to be in high demand, but couldn't find out much about the non-turbo ones. If I need to get the part number to help out let me know.

I remember reading something about the AFM on the 3VZ and the Supra was the biggest or something. Or was that the throttlebody?

What I've read always seemed to refer to the Turbo Supra AFM being larger or something, nothing about the regular engine. They also had a 1990 Cressida there as well, almost pulled off the AFM off it too

I'm hoping toysrme or someone that has experience with the 3vz-fe sees this and puts his 2 cents in. Even if it's useless on my Camry, I can always stick it on ebay and make a couple of bucks, hehe.

I wouldn't think that the NA afm would help at all. If you had picked up a turbo afm, then it could work I would think.

After all the supra tt mafs work pretty well on a good number of different cars

but also- why not just try it and see?
