ok i failed emissions w/ an aftermarket eBay intake; i was goin to reinstall the original equipment, but after a few days of searching, all i found was the filter housing. i can find the intake tube on eBay, but where can i find the part that goes underneath it? i hope someone knows what i'm talking about.

couldnt pass emissions with an intake? sure u got all ur hoses plumbed right? just its presence shouldnt cause u to fail emissions tests. in any case are u talking about teh bottom half of the airbox? there are really only 4 components, the 2 parts of the airbox, the MAF sensor and the intake tube that connects to the throttle body. what engine and year? in any case th best place to get that stuff is at a junk/salvage yard.

I read resonator was about intake noise and controlling 'pulsing'.
I returned to stock because I didn't get any bonus from all the intake mods.
The noise irritated me after a year.
May have thought different if I had a manual instead of this slow shifting automatic.
you dont need that resonator/water collector ... i drove all summer without one before i installed my aftermarket intake ... i covered the hole with duct tape, and a few other members have done the same thing
