A few quesions

I'm looking to buy a Gen 3 Camry. I have a few questions, though.

1. Why is the Camry/Celica GT (5S-FE?) slanted in it's mount? Meaning that it isn't mounted straight up. My friend has an 89 2.0L Camry mounted the same way

2. I thought I read a how-to (with pictures) on changing the timing belt. I've tried looking for it with the search button, but to no avail.

3. How difficult will it be to replace a timing belt? I'm pretty familiar with vehicles. I usually do all my own work on my car, a Buick Riviera. I've had two belt driven cars, but have never had to replace the timing belt. Also, my Buick has a 3.8L V6 pushrod engine, so it uses a chain, so nothing to do there. The most work I've had to do with my cars is replace the water pump and breaks.

4. How easy is it to do routine maintenance on a Camry with the 5S-FE? It seems like there's a lot of room in the engine compartment. It also seems like the starter, oil filter, O2 Sensor, alternator, and radiator are easily accessible for replacement.

Thanks a lot, I hope I find a good one.

why not? but seriously, i would suspect it would be to improve clearance. i.e. keeping the front of the vehicle nice and low.

if you've done a water pump, then you should be ok to do a timing belt in the 5SFE

I do have some room...

Also, if I flush and fill the cooling system, can I use 50/50 DexCool with a Camry? I have a bunch of left over Prestone DexCool, and that shit is expensive.
