have any change their tranmission fluid 96 toyota camry LE 4cyl 5sfe? i have 96 toyota camry Le 4 cylinder 5sfe automatic....if i remove the transmission bolt and let it drain all fluid out, do i need to do any other steps? how many quarts need to refill tranmission ...do i need to remove the pan to clean the transmision's filter? or you recommend by dealer replace transmission fluid?

any things i need to watch out or need to look out when i am doing it...recommend fuilid from TOYOTA dealer or buy AT autoZone or Advance Auto? which one is better?

Drain the pan by removing the drain bolt ....remove the pan ... clean it .... replace the pan gasket .... refill the amount you have drained..... after driving awhile, drain again, maybe repeat drain/refill for a total of 3 times..... You will have essentially clean transmission fluid and probably extended the life of your transmission significantly....
That is if you haven't waited too many miles to do this already.

Use Dexron III ATF fluid for the transmission, power steering, and differential fluid.

Allow 3 quarts of fluid per drain procedure ...actual amount is about 2.6 quarts. Be sure and check fluid level and also for leaks before you take a long trip.

Be sure and clean the bottom of the inside of the pan well ... there is some sticky stuff that collects there.... Also clean and replace the two small magnet pieces that you will find.....Don't forget.

Do you mean the strainer?

I took mine loose, inspected it. There wasn't anything in the screen that I could see. I rinsed it off with solvent and put it back. I don't think I would buy a new one. The 5s-fe automatic doesn't actually have a replaceable filter, though.
