no spec V, if ur thinkin u may mod in the future then either the solara or impreza. the impreza definatly has much more aftermarket support but i would not buy that simply because i could just get its younger MUCH sportier brother the WRX. but i say solara or impreza in that order cuz the splara looks better but it will have higher insurance too(coupe V6 vs. 4 door 4cyl)
well let me first say that ive never owned one so i dont have first hand experiance. that being said, i have 2 buddys of mine who both have one. neither of them liked it much, descent power and definatly a fun factor but the quality wasnt as good as a scoobydo or toyota. they did twice the mantainace work that i had done on my camry and only had like 75K miles. u are lookin at lower insurance with the spec V however over the solara. now me personally, i think they are boring as hell to look at, that would be an issue for me. my one friend tried to boost his and had to many damn problems...and that was with a kit.
to everyone that told you Toyota > Subaru .... theyre liars - theyre pretty much equal in reliability if you maintain them properly ...
however, the cars you listed are not similar in any way ... so i wont even try to compare the two ... but if youre getting a Subaru, get the LGT or the WRX, dont mess with the puny RS ... and they are 10x more powerful than the Solara ... 1MZ just cant compete with the turbo EJ motor
