Talking New, just some questions.

Hey, I'm new to the forums, and don't know jack about cars, let alone about my camry. I'm just wondering if an aftermarket Cold Air Intake will improve gas mileage? Any suggestions on what brand I should be lookin at? I have around 25-40 dollars I'm willing to spend. Also, I want to change my dash color and cluster in general, anywhere you can point me to?

Lastly my power window is messed up, I can only control my driver side, the passenger, and rear windows don't go up they can only go down from my control. My passengers can put them up and down. Is it the wiring or the actual controls that are broken?

Thanks again.

1992 Camry, 2.2L and everything stock.

intake u can get on ebay for cheap or get the weapon R, they dont make a CAI for the 2.2 however, just a SRI(short ram intake). it wont really give u better gas millage persay, ull prolly loose some infact since ull be a little more floor friendly because of teh fantastic sound it will produce.

u can get reverse glow guages on ebay as well or change the color of the lights. search the threads here there are many threads on the subject.

cai will not give you any mpg increase nor any noticeable power gains but it will sound nice. You can buy a cheap online one for somewhere around that price but its going to be crappy most likely, or you can make your own it wont be carb legal though so inspection time you would have to swap back.

cluster color you can buy reverse glow gauges or just change the bulbs in the back to a different color

3rd Generation

So, basically no air filters I can use to improve mileage? D= wow thanks. Needed one cuz I'm fat and gas is going up a little. Weapon R is way too expensive but thanks.

How about the instrument cluster? I didn't meant the color, I meant the actual cluster I dislike black wanted something white maybe? My friend corolla has one, it looks really nice, it's white and he put in a blue blub but he didn't know how to do it.

no filters will help mpg, no real tricks for mpg really just replacing o2 sensors if they are bad and driving more conservatively

as for gauges do mean something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/i578-...spagenameZWDVW
I have it but for gen4 and i really like it

Yeah, those thanks man! Any installation tips? or link maybe?

Also what's an O2 sensor? Like I said I just barely know enough about cars to get by.
