how to fix shifter surround

Hey everybody! It seems yet again there is something else wrong with my Camry. Today I was leaving my house when the piece of black plastic surrounding the shifter just sunk into the bottom. I repositioned it but every time I shifted into reverse it made this horrible sound. So tonight it kept sinking in and I finally had to cut it out. The piece is now gone but it looks horrible in my car. Where can I find another piece to replace it with? This is quite aggervating as the car only has 60k miles and has been taken very good care of. I don't know why it's gonna start falling apart now. Here is a picture of the piece i'm talking about:

That is not falling apart, thats a broken piece of plastic. Just go to a junkyard and pocket a little shifter housing

Yeah i know that isn't, but the sunroof assembly is also messed up and I got quoted a price of $1300 to get it fixed (not even from Toyota dealer) and a couple of other things are messed up. I just ran around the block and now that I look at the car again it isn't a big deal. I just needed to get out of my house. But if I go to the junkyard and find a piece, how hard would it be to install? Thanks!

You would take a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws around the shifter then lift it up and grab the part

Thanks for that! I'm completely retarded here so how would I get the black plastic piece up? Do I pull it up or what? Thanks for the advice!
