Order cv boots, but confused.

Hi, I'd like to order OEM cv boots for my Toyota van but am really confused by
how the venders, such as, 1sttoyotaparts, listed them:

Boots, sienna, inner 98-03 $21.04 $14.55 Boots, sienna, outer 98-03 $38.68 $26.73

I want two inner and two outer boots for BOTH sides of my van. But when
I ask the dealer, they said the second item listed ($26.73) contains one inner and one
outer boot for one axle. But, then what is the first item ($14.55)???

Should I order one of the first item and one of the second item, or two
second items?

By the way, I once asked my local Toyota dealer and they do mention
each package comes with one inner and one outer.

the easiest way...to save yourself the trouble....is to just get some remanufactured axles...they'll come out to about 100bucks each side plus core charge which you get back when you return your old axles...

Sounds to me like the first one is the inner and outer for the driver side and the second one is the inner and outer for the passenger side. I could have that backwards..but it makes perfect sense to me.

There are 2 boots on each axle (side)...an inner (closest to the engine) and an outer (closest to the wheel).

But yeah...if you are going through all that trouble..just replace the axle. I can get lifetime warranty axles for my 93 camry LE for $60 (does not include the core, but you get that back anyway when you are done). Believe me...ive changed just the boot before...and it was a PITA to repack the joint and not get grease everywhere so that the boot doesnt slide off the joint.

third vote to just replace the axle. ive replaced just boots on previous cars, and i dont think it was worth the time plus if dirt did already get in and wore on the CV joints, you might have to replace the axel in the near future anyway.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I think lifetime warranty on a axle is
a good deal. Does that mean if say, after 4-5 years, the boots breaks,
they will give you another axle for free?

i 4th the replacing the axle. got both side brand new for about $120 for my. the warranty is based on how many millages and how long you had it when the boot breaks or what not. forgot the term they used..
