My windows are pretty slow and do dim the lights whenever I use something electrical (power seats, power windows, power steering). I'm sure it's normal.
one more vote for yeah it does it to me too. I was going to ask the same question, though never got around to it. Mine does it just when closing the windows. Pretty much all the lights dim, including the clock and the instrument panel.
p.s. anyone else's clock change times at random? Sometimes my clock will change a few hours ahead or reset or a combination of the two. It seems to do it in intervals, like for a few weeks it'll do it every day and then no problems for months. btw my stereo does not reset when this happens.

Doing the BIG 3 upgrades helps the dimming more than a new battery would...
Even with the new battery your still not getting a good flow through your stock wiring. After I did my BIG3 the dimming was gone.

The Gen 3s are getting old. Copper wire developes resistance over time. I only raise one window at a time and I help the drivers side when it is cold weather.
As for the clock reset, our RX300 did this when the battery was about to go. I searched a Lexus Form and found that information. New battery, no problems with clock.

well, that's what I thought too, but it did it before and after a new battery. It hasnt done it in probably 2 months. I'm thinking it's just a bad connection....somewhere. Shouldn't I lose my radio pre-sets if it was the battery? That's the part that never made sense to me. (If I unplug my battery I do lose the presets)
One thing to help windows is simple, make sure you clean the seals, so the motor doesnt have to work as hard. Only my passenger window has trouble and I know it needs a thorough cleaning.
