Should I or should I not?

under the front side of my car, somewhere under the radiator, there is a plastic black thing..kind of like a protective covering. Anyway, recently it cracked in half and know one end is hanging really low, low enough for everyone to see. I'll even hear it scraping when going over a steep speed bump. I was thinking if I should just tear the hanging end off. What do you guys think?

But the easiest way to fix it would be duct tape and black spray paint.

You could also try to make some holes and ziptie it together.

I like that black piece that goes under the bumper. It lets me know how close I am getting to the curb when parking.

its the splash guard and it is somthing that would be better to leave on. i wouldnt use duct tape or staples. i would do what liquidi3ladz said and make small holes and zip tie it back on.

FWIW, mine fell of my '98 the first year I owned it. (Couldn't hardly go in/out a driveway even at STOCK height w/o scrapin' the hell outta that thing)

Ripped the rest of it off & never looked back. That was..........well........9 years ago!! Still runnin' like a champ!!
