Question about struts

Hey all, I don't know if the generation 4 camry shocks/struts will fit on a generation 3, would anybody help me out here? Please let me know asap, thank you all!

the rear is the same between the gen3 and 4, but the front is not.

you have to get the 3.5 mounts in the front, other than that, yes it will work (just did it earlier today actually)

OK, so I have to get the strut mounts from a gen 3.5, and put it on my gen 3. But you said "in the front". So the gen 3.5 rear struts fit automatically on a gen 3? or do I need to get the gen 3.5 strut mounts for the rear also?

i wish i would've taken a picture of these side by side, but i believe that they are the exact same (the rear mounts).
if nothing else, call up a toyota dealership, and ask part numbers for the two.
