haha a tech i know (worked on falken drift mustang @ XMP in aliso viejo, ca) ripped an entire sign out of the concrete in vegas, drunk, while running after someone (forgot why he was running after someone)
keep in mind, we called him the viking, and he was about 6.5", huge, and one f*cking crazy dude
early on that night he hit an asian crack whore in a sidewalk on the strip with a show car, she replied: "OH!!!! YOU CRASH ON ME!!!"

but yeah, you got me on the rivets...maybe a big pry bar could do the trick? or maybe just one hand on one side, one hand on the other, both feet on the metal stick part, and pull...i've seen that work before too
