But even they say the Nokian is on sale now they still asking for $ 147.00 + 20$ mounting + tax
If I drive down state to Montana, The michellin will cost me $ 90.00 + 11$ mounting at Costco Montana. I call some tires stores in Montana carry Nokian they ask for $ 139.00 (same size, same tire).
Humm ! Don't know. Have to think about this.
Onething I know is on the sidewall of the Nokian have a logo like a Mountain and some snowflake on it. So this telling me that this tire is o.k for winter driving. And the michellin don't have that. Is mark as a/s (all season only).

The Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S is marketed as an all weather high peformance tire. I think that it will be great for my winters because I live in the Foothills of Western NC so we only receive about 12 in. of snow a year....well we used to before GW.
I would think that a tire with a snow flake is would be best for northern winter.
www.tirerack.com lists winter tires my Michelin and others and can be a good starting point.
