Hey and thanks,
my 1995 Camry Gas Gauge seems to be stuck at FULL!!
I just noticed that it's not moving......errr
Even when I turn the car off it's still stuck near full. I have no idea how much gas I have left....lol
Can you please help me as to what can possibly be the problem?.....Thanks
Don't know this will help you or not. My 2005 Toyota Van. last year the battery was dead. All gauges are out off lunch. I unplug the battery and recharge it again. A day later start the car and everything go back to normal. If it don't work for you. You might have to go and fill up the car again to make sure. Maybe the gauge will work again.
I noticed it just the last few days.....I use about one tank a week and it should be about 1/2 empty now so yesterday and especially today I noticed that the gauge is not going down and today I figured it's got to be stuck; so I shut the car off and the guage doesn't go down to zero as it should, so I figure it's not working. I haven't added any more gas as yet. I will fill it back up tonight after work and see if that does anything.
Any more ideas are appreciated......

Hello,
I am not expert here. If we think there is a chance is because the sensor is stuck.
I myself will purchase a bottle of fuel injection cleaner and dump into the tank before I fill it up. May be it will help to loose up the sensor inside the tank.
Ok, now you have me doubting what I said. I thought my gauge always went to zero when I shut it off. Maybe I'm mistaken.
Anyhow, it's definitly stuck near FULL and is not going down. I am going to add some more gas tonight and see what happens..............

Lol, good luck ! I live is Canada too. The auto industies in here suck. Will not purchase any more car, truck, Van. If I need one I will drive down state to get one.
Even on my next trip to state. Will go to a toyota dealer and check their parts and see how much different in pricing here.

Folken, keep track of your milage each time you fill up or reset your tripmeter each time. You know that you can get over 300 miles per tank (I expect). Before you travel 300 miles fill up again. You are now using your tripmeter as a fuel gauge (sort of).

I bring this up is just in case. If I have to purchase parts for my Camry. Maybe down at state the parts might be cheaper. So it not a bad idea to check out if I am down there.
