3rd Generation Wipers on a 94 camry

I just bought a 94 camry with 97k miles on it and it was filthy so my girl got it detailed for me and now i can't shut off the winsheild wipers. I had to pull the fuse out to get them to stop. Has anyone had this problem?

wow 94 with 97K thats great. welcome to TN.

first i have to ask, are u sure u have the wiper switch in the off position. that is with the leaver on the right of the steering wheel all the way up. ok now that thats out of the way it may be a short that ull have to test for.

Sounds like the park switch in the motor. It's the switch that does not shut the wipers off until they return to park position. You may have to remove the motor to fix. Not sure why it would go after detailing.
