Oh the memories...

I loved it when I first picked up my 1994 Camry XLE V6 from the auto shop, it had so many options for a car it's age, even compared to the features of the current model cars. Even though I love my Gen 6, I'll never forget my Gen 3

Here are some pictures of my gone Gen 3 :-/

If anyone is wondering why I posted this, I just felt like bringing back some memories

That car was beautiful. I love that color and it was extremely clean. I've been thinking of trading up my Gen 4.5 Camry to a Gen 5.5 but I know once I get rid of it I will miss it so much. But in the end I think it will be worth it.

Thanks, they keyword is was..

I was idiotic and debadged it, which left residue on the trunk and the holes that held in the emblems. I then painted over it to cover it up, so now the rear of the trunk looks like crap. I also removed the pin stripes, but looking back the car looked better with them.

Oh well, it's not mine anymore

I think I might be the next to go. I hope I'll have some good luck like you and get a Gen 6 V6.... Doesn't seem likely though.

How do you think the overall quality of the cars compare? I was disappointed when sitting back to back in a Gen 6 and my car. Seems like the gaps were a little larger and the materials seemed like a step down. I love the new body, but i'm gonna stick with Gen 5 as it seems more screwed together and I can get a better deal since they are almost 3 years old.

Personally I think the Gen 3 exterior and interior can look great. What I like about the Gen 6 is obviously the power, but the much larger cabin area (not that much larger, but the layout makes it look more open). And as with any new car, there arent as many squeaks or quirks that annoy you. However I do miss not having to make a monthly payment every month :P
