4th Generation Would one more gear be a good idea ?
I can't help but think a 6th gear in my 97 with the 2.2 5-spd would work great . It would be nice to have the engine running around 2-2200 RPM while cruising around 70mph/120kph . I think the gas milage would be super !

A 6 speed manual would be great in any car, however good luck finding one or making one for the Camry, haha.

Honestly, it's not going to happen. It would have to be 100% custom made. Just be thankful you don't have the 4 speed automatic.

lol...yeah...the 6th gear and low rpms would be great for gas mileage....but I doubt that the 4banger makes enough power at 1500rpms to cruise at 120kph
