Question Help? Where can I get find sun visor and how to replace it?

Hi Forum,

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry LE V6, the driver side sun visor mirror flip broken, so I need to replace it. I searched a lot, only found one item bid on ebay, and cannot found it anywhere else. Can anybody give me some tips on where to get it?

BTW, I search on how to replace it as well, also unlucky. Anybody has experience? Is it easy (like some screws) or hard (like remove carpet ....)? Is there any howto or guide?

Thanks a lot

Noodle

4th Generation

I tried to fix my visor with no success. Common problem on Gen4's. My solution was to find a set of visora from a Lexus es300 off of Ebay. The color and size was a perfect match. The Lexus visors are better built and have lights by the mirror so I ran a wire down the pillar and hooked up power. If you don't care about the lights then the job will be super easy.

To remove your sunvisors all you need to do is pop off the triangle cover at the end of the visor nearest the door. Underneath you will find two or three screws that hold the visor to the car. That's all there is to it.
