Difference between Camry Generations?

I have been searching on and off for some kind of summary of the various Camry Generations like what dates were they produced from and what changes were made from one to the next. So far, no joy. Can anyone provide some relevant information? Even if it is only about one particular Generation that would be helpful.

OK, probably a dumb question... How do I determine whether my 1995 Camry is a Gen 3 or Gen 3.5? (VIN: 4T1SK12E0SU502452) What things changed between these two generations?

Then, if I buy a headlight off of eBay (ASG14's "fitment" post brought this up), how do I explain the difference between the two different headlights to a seller to make sure that I am getting the right used part?

Or, maybe I should ask, what "minor modifications to the bumper" will I need to make if I get the wrong headlight?

gen 3 is 92-94, gen 3.5 is 95-95.
the gen 3.5 changed the taillights (painted center panel, gen 3 is either a red or black center panel), the head lights on the gen 3.5 are like \\ //(curve into the grill) and the gen 3 headlights are like // \\ (grill curves into the lights). I believe that the 3.5 also introduced a steering bearing in the tops of the front struts.
