Radio noise with window heater

Hi,
I've recently purchased a 2000 Camry LE. I did a CD Player + Rear speaker installation. My problem is when I turn on the window heater, my radio signal drops. I have so much noise coming out of speaker that I can't even listen to it for second. I assume the antenna is somewhere in the back where I did the speaker installation. Does anyone know how the antenna looks like and where exactly is it? Thanks.

Can you be more specific about the noise. Im assuming that the cd player and rear speakers are aftermarket... Check your grounds...

are u getting static and interference?
because the antenna is integrated into the rear window, and the defroster interferes with it. happens all the time on my 03 SE

Did you have heater radio interference prior to installation of new CD/Spkrs?

Hi thank you all for replying...

Yes it's an aftermarket audio system. I did not have any static before the installation. Even after installation, the radio is crystal clear but once I turn on the defrost, I can only hear anything but *hiss*. If I turn the defrost off then the radio goes back to normal.

If you have the radio antenna wire (black with red stripe) close to the
Defogger wire (solid black) ... you might get interference.

Do you have the printed glass antenna on the rear window? ...or a motor operated antenna?

If you disconnect one of the rear speakers at a time ... both wires ... do you still get the noise interference?
