WTB: 2000 4cyl camry le motor

Yesterday I was driving home from Miami and the oil light comes on. I threw the car in neutral and then the car stalled. The timing belt cut its way through the cover and the cover cracked open and the motor is probably completely done. The car won't turn over at all.

Does anyone have just the motor for sale? I live in FL and would prefer it if you lived close to Orlando, FL. Thanks!

The motor is non-interference. If it's just the timing belt that busted, you just replace the belt.

Most likely you had low oil, trying chaning your timing belt, if it works then you can go searching for a new engine

Could the Oil light come on when snapping a timing belt? Would it disable oil pressure? Just a timing belt snapping alone wouldn't harm the engine too much, but if you were so low on oil that something seized it's not good.

yeah, sounds like the timing belt broke (it also powers the oil pump) and seems it can cause the oil light to come on just before the motor quits. no harm, no fowl.
