i think the only special tools you need to do these things is just a spanner wrench. personally ive replaced all of those seals aside from the rear crank seal and i was easily able to make due without the special service tools.

Depends what you consider special. The trick I use to pop the seals out is to carefully drill a tiny hole anywhere in the center of the seal and then put the end of a hooked pick (looks like a dentists tool) into the hole to grab the seal and pull. To reinstall the front crank seal just use a big socket (deep) or a piece of pvc pipe with the same size/diameter as the seal and gently hammer it in. The cam seal(s) is a bit tricker because there is not as much room to work with. For this one, I use a small block of wood and a pry bar to press it in little by little.

i recently changed my cam seal, oil pump seal, oil pump o-ring, crankshaft seal,

i bought the seal puller from ebay around $10 thinking it can do the job, turn out not
then I used a small flat head screw driver, pierce through seal first, then pried them out carefully, better than the $10 seal puller i bought.
to reinstall, i was not able to find sockets similar size of the seals.
so i use the plastic end piece of a craftman screw driver handle, press the seal evenly back,

thats a great suggestion greggf- i never thought to do something like that.

i just used a small screw driver with some duct tape on the tip to pry out the old seals. then i used a small section of PVC pipe with a wood block on the end to seat the new seal.
