3rd Generation transmission issue

i know this may sound silly, but where is the clutch master cylinder reservoir. I tried the search, and my haynes manual is not very clear on its location. My transmisison is having trouble shifting and I want to make sure all the small things are taken care of before going to have the transmission repaired/replaced. I already drained and refilled the transmission fluid, but that did not help. I do not know what else to check on, any tips? I have a '95 v6

Clutch master cylinder is in the upper most right hand corner as you face the engine compartment. Looks like a little plastic bowl with a black rubber cap.

Difficult shifting can be due to the hydraulic system (master and slave cylinders) not allowing the clutch disc to fully disengage. 1st thing is too check the fluid level and refill if necessary.

My 97 seems tough dropping into 1st while downshifting . If I'm nearly stopped it slids in good otherwise it takes some force . I just got the car a few weeks ago and I often wonder if how the shifting works is related to how the previous driver used it .
