Netami Strut Bar=JDM?

I just got my netami strut bar. On the box it says "engineered and manufactured in Yokohama Japan." Is that a sign that Netami could possibly be a jdm brand?
Im not much of a jdm expert.

i don't think it matters- "JDM" is just for giggles. Well to me anyways- quality matters most.

but ya- i guess that makes the strut bar "JDM".

Yea quality is #1. I was just wondering if its jdm, and if that means its rare? They didnt include directions with it so I still have yet to install it and determine its quality.

I used to have a Netami strut bar for my 01 Camry. It has a chrome finish and looked pretty nice under the hood, but the ends were adjustable so I could never get it at the right length. When I closed the hood, I couldn't use the washer nozzles because the Netami strut bar was pressing on the washer fluid tubings. You might have to play around with the adjustments a bit to get it to fit right. I just sold it and got a TRD strut bar (listed in the TRD catalog as for a 99-03 Solara) instead. TRD fit much better and it is stronger too. However, I sold that and got a JIC Magic aluminum strut bar just because it was polished and was lighter than the TRD. But I still think TRD has better quality and fitment overall.

i think JDM really means somthing was produced for the Japanese Domaestic Market, not so much IN Japanese Domestic Market. could be wrong though.

JDM means it is sold (currently or in the past) in Japan .... aka, on the Japanese Domestic Market

different from "Made in Japan"

rigid link between the left and right strut mounts

therefore, if the left moves up, the right moves up too ..... same principal as sway bars, but not as effective
