Camry 98 front head lights brownish color!?! why? How?
Guys,
I have Camry 98 CE, and since I bought my used car last year my head lights are brownish color, is it dirt or because of the sun and cold the plastic turned to be brownish, i want to have my headlights clean and shiny how can i do that?
I have been told to use the finest sand paper and some tener, will this solve the issue , or i can not do anything about it ?
Search....been discussed a lot. There are several methods. The most common is getting some PlastX by Meguirs (sp?). You can find it at your local walmart or any parts store.

The Camry is a car that I can rip out someone's pride, stab it, beat it, and completely bash their egos, and it's so ridiculous that the person comes back with a hysterical laugh... ROFL They got trainlengthed by a Camry that in their mind, was a 18 sec car.

plastx is a cleaning product made by meguiars, you can find it at your local auto store. Use that and some elbow grease or buy something like a powerball mini drill attachment and go to work on those headlights and they should clear up.
well look at my headlights and imagine them much more yellow, i cleaned them to that with some plastx and barely any elbow grease, if i had put more effort and time into them i could even get them cleaner than that
mequires scratch x and a buffer with a terry cloth pad and some tape on the paint to protect from burning, took all of ten minutes and most of that was taping it off
I used toothpaste and an old toothbrush... Cheaper alternative, and it gave my headlights more clarity.
and minty freshness!!! seriously... hadnt heard of that, but i have heard of using that on chrome (bikers tricks...lol) i can see where it would worl good!
On my Lexus I used brasso & tissue paper, worked wonders. The more you pilsh, the clearer they become. However on the Scepter I tried bug & tar remover, worked very well too, and much quicker.
